Abstract

Chronic osteomyelitis in children is usually a consequence of acute form and its chronicity depends on virulence of the pathogen, immune response of the patient and treatment taken1. Although acute form is prevalent in metaphyseal region, its chronic transformation can spread through entire length of bone and destroy all or part of it2. We report a case of bone defect, sequale of chronic osteomyelitis that was successfully managed.
