Abstract

The present investigation was to study phytochemical, antioxidant and antimicrobial activity of Z. zerumbet (L.) Ethanolic seed extracts by Soxhelt method. The antimicrobial activity by Agar well diffusion method. Qualitative study reveals that very rich in triterpenoids, tannin, and phenol but low in carbohydrates and steroids. Seven metabolites are identified by high resolution mass spectrometry and these metabolites are found in various drug compounds used for drug.
