Peripheral vascular disease of the lower extremity is an important cause of morbidity and affects 10 million people in India1. Atherectomy is an useful adjunct in already established endovascular techniques for lower limb atherosclerotic disease. At one and six month follow up, all the patients showed significant clinical improvement. The cost and availability are some of the practical issues however limiting its use.
