Abstract

Alimentary tract duplications are rare congenital anomalies that usually present in childhood and occasionally in adults. Majority of the duplications present as spherical cysts and usually range from few millimeter to less than ten centimeters in size. The risk of peptic ulceration due to presence of ectopic gastric mucosa and rare occurrence of malignant transformation within the duplication remain secondary therapeutic concerns. Here in we present a three-year-old girl presented in state of shock caused by perforation peritonitis.
